Our Story
On Nov 16, 2021, our bakery manufacturing facility was broken into and destroyed. This random act of violence against our business is not ok. Our windows were busted open, equipment broken, and money stolen..... one week before our busiest holiday. This didn't stop us!!! Hundreds of volunteers showed up to help us clean and get 10,000 products baked, frosted, and packaged. We kept our retail closed for almost an entire year, while we focused on growing our manufacturing. support Baked In Baltimore's mission.
Almost a year later, and our retail bakery is back OPEN and ready for business. We are DC and Baltimore strong. Help us, help ourselves rebound! Our product, the DC Sweet Potato Cake is found in 700 stores in the DMV from Starbucks, Wegmans, Safeway, and Nordstroms, to QVC.
